The jokers philosophy makes sense. Everybody has a breaking point. if enough things in your life fall apart you will start hating the world, why love a world that has caused you so much suffering. The joker probably understands the nature of reality more profoundly than anyone else in this universe. The only answer to such a view may be to cultivate boundless compassion for all beings - Everybody suffers to some extent or the other, so we must generate compassion towards everybody (The Batman embodies this to a certain extent by devoting his life to protect the people of Gotham. The joker misses this point and is too focused on trying to validate that what happened to him can happen to anyone. In other words he just want to prove that the world is just like him because to think otherwise would mean that he is weaker than everybody else. The Joker took whatever happened to him in the past too personally)

true detective s1 intro is hands down the best intro of all time. It gives you an undescribable feeling.

I mean no matter how many times they try and use different actors to make a Joker film, this preformance will never be outdone.

If I had watched this film with zero knowledge of who was playing the Joker, I genuinely don't think I would have ever guessed it was Heath Ledger, and I'm sure people would agree with me. I could watch this film a thousand times and if I didn't know who the actor was behind the makeup, I would be making all kinds of silly guesses but Heath Ledger would definitely not have been one of them. This is a masterclass in acting, almost otherworldly. He was a genius. Gone too soon

Heath Ledger & Joaquin Phoenix are hands down the best Jokers. But Joaquin takes the cake honestly. With Heath, youre watching a super good actor doing a great job at being a menace. Just menacing & very intriguing to watch. At times chilling. Just so good. 👏🏻 But with Joaquin, he incited like real terror & fear in me. Id say it was more unnerving to watch him than it was watching Anthony Hopkins, in Silence of the Lambs if im honest. Joaquin really told the story of his character through his eyes, it was actually quite terrifying. You almost didn’t need dialogue. Was just a very scary performance. By the end of the movie, i noticed that my muscles were tense & nerves were shot. 😂. Heath’s Joker didnt do that. With him i was just amazed. JP was incredible. Ive never seen anything like it & no Oscar has been better deserved in a hot minute. Scorpios, Caps & Leos really be doin it the best.
